Respect Differences

Note: This is a transcription of the video published in my Youtube channel. Here’s a link to that video.

13% of them were made fun of, called names or insulted. 12% had rumours spread about them. 10% were cyberbullied. 5% were purposefully excluded, pushed, shoved, or tripped. 2% had their property destroyed.

We come from diverse backgrounds, but we have the same emotions. Simple lang ang kailangan: When you see someone alone and being bullied, reach out and help them by starting with “hello.”

Nangagaling sa mga magulang ang ugaling mang-aapi. Psychologists say that bullies also need help, because they are bullied at home.

Basic mental health is a recognition of the value of oneself and the value of others. We need to have both to teach a child to be kind.

Manalangin tayo: O Diyos, nawa’y maramdaman namin ang aming kapatiran at pagkakaibigan sa buong mundo. Amen.
